Freya Isaacs’ portfolio of digital works begin in 2023 with a series of dramatically post-produced photographs of the same sunny beach. Her work on this series was inspired by the dissonance between the memory and the individual, and the way in which environments play a role in symbolising this distance. Isaacs’ digital artworks of 2025 revisit her infatuation with investigating both the natural world and the physical body, and demonstrates a synthesis between the two. A complimentary body of work alongside her series of still life paintings from the same year, her digital collages of plantlife reconfigure the order of the subjects in order to portray a nonsensical offshoot of the original form.
